I ran across 15-year old Ava Lowrey's
WWJD animation via Crooks & Liars. While she did diary it here the other day, it seemed to me that a 3rd-person doing so would be more appropriate--especially if it was a non-Christian like me. Indeed, I might be characterized as one of the angry anti-Christians supposedly infesting DailyKos. Nonetheless, I found Ms. Lowrey's animation absolutely hit the nail on the head. Would that more Christians (and atheists) in the U.S. could see this and be reminded about how far astray those who profess to follow Jesus have been led.
Below is the text of the e-mail I was moved to send Ms. Lowrey.
I'm an atheist. Your WWJD animation moved me deeply. It was so powerful, I decided to look around your site and was dumbfounded and elated to learn that someone so young could get to the heart of the matter so elegantly where so many others have failed.
Thank you for your site--I will spread the word. It is a shame that Christianity has become, by and large, identified with the right wing war-mongers in our country. WWJD is a wonderful antidote to that.
